Hudson Girl Is Hit By Tree Branch While Waiting For School Bus

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A young Hudson girl is expected to be okay after a tree branch hit her on the head while waiting for the school bus on Monday morning.

Hudson Police said the 11-year-old girl was getting out of a car to get on the bus around 9:30 a.m. when a tree limb fell, hitting her and the car.

Police were called to the scene at Falls Brook Road and Laurel Drive.

The girl was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. Police told WBZ NewsRadio that the girl's injuries are minor.

The girl's mother was not injured.
