Several Wrentham Streets Close To Prepare For Black Friday Outlets Traffic

WRENTHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Wrentham Police are announcing some road changes as they get ready for Black Friday shoppers.

Town officials are getting ready for an influx of shoppers heading to the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets this Thanksgiving weekend.

"Best advice is plan ahead and stay away if you’re not joining the shopping crowds. We’ll do our best to manage the chaos and keep everyone safe!!" Police Chief Bill McGrath wrote.

The following streets will be either restricted or closed from Friday to Sunday depending on traffic in the area.

  • Nickerson Lane at Rt. 1A
  • Berry St. at Wampum St.
  • Berry St. at Rt.1A
  • Taunton St. at George St.
  • Taunton St. at Beach St.
  • Taunton St. at Cowell St.
  • South St. at West St.
  • West St. at Green St.
  • George St. at Rt.1
  • High St. at South St.
  • Everett Skinner Rd. at Cowell St.
  • Everett Skinner Rd. at Wampum St.

The Black Friday outlet weekend hours are below:

Friday 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
