BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Hazmat crews are actively investigating an unknown chemical release inside a commercial building in the financial district.
Boston Fire responded and evacuated occupants at 218-230 Congress Street Wednesday afternoon.
"They have evacuated the building they are trying to determine what exactly what kind of chemical has been spilled here." Marc Sanders with Boston Fire said.
