Suspect Bites Officer's Thumb At Booking

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- An accused heroin dealer is facing additional charges after he allegedly bit the thumb of a Boston police officer. 

 Police say James Turner was arrested during a sting operation in a Chinatown park known for drug activity.  While he was being processed, Turner allegedly struggled with officers, and bit one of the officers in the thumb.  The officer was treated for his injury, while Turner is charged with drug offenses and assault and battery on a police officer.
