BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Red Sox have the best record in baseball, but they've lost three straight for just the second time all year--including the first two of a four-game set with the Central-leading Indians. Cleveland's won nine of 10.

Boston hasn't dropped four in a row all season, and hopefully that'll still be true by the end of the night.

Sox and Tribe will meet again at 7:10 p.m., but Steve Pearce isn't worried about his group.

"It's baseball, it happens," he said. "Baseball's been mighty kind to us the first couple of months. We hit a little bit of a skid. We're battling through it, can't win it all. Right now, we're not firing on all cylinders. It happens. We're not panicking, tomorrow's a new day. We can still split a series, we've got two games left. We're going to keep playing our game."

Brian Johnson's won three of his last four starts. The lefty's never faced Cleveland and has a 3.40 ERA in nine starts this season.

Tribe will counter with Carlos Carrasco. The righty's 15-6 with a 3.33 mark, but that ERA's a slim 1.35 his last eight appearances spanning almost 47 innings. That's featured 58 strikeouts to only six walks.

But, Carrasco's posted an ERA of nearly 7 in seven career games against the Sox.
