WORCESTER,MA (WBZ-AM) -- Worcester Regional Airport is receiving a federal grant of $463,000 dollars to install new electronic equipment.

The grant comes to the airport from the Federal Aviation Administration.  It will be used for equipment that will provide power and air conditioning to planes at gates one and two.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao says the grant will help the airport to better serve the flying public while strengthening the economy and creating jobs in the community.
