BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to an estimated $348 million for Friday's drawing, with a cash option of an estimated $210.2 million.
The jackpot was last hit October 23 in South Carolina. The $1.537 billion jackpot was the largest in Mega Millions history.
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot set to be drawn Saturday night has risen to $40 million, and the in-state Megabucks Doubler is estimated at $1.3 million.
Massachusetts Lottery spokesperson Christian Teja told WBZ NewsRadio's Ben Parker they urge residents to play responsibly.
"We want people to play within their means, enjoy the games, and have fun," he said. "The lottery's all about fun, and we want things to remain fun for everybody."
