Police: Woman Killed While Walking On F.E. Everett Turnpike In Nashua

NASHUA, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — New Hampshire State Police are investigating after a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua Wednesday.

Around 7:05 p.m., New Hampshire State Police said they received a call that there was a pedestrian in the south portion of the highway close to the Exit 4 off-ramp.

Shortly thereafter, they received another call that the pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

Emergency personnel determined that the pedestrian died and the vehicle had left the area.

Authorities have identified the victim as 68-year-old Juliette Koss of Nashua.

Three southbound lanes were on the turnpike were closed for about four hours as police investigated.

Several witnesses saw a tan colored mid to full-size SUV at the time of the crash according to State Police. This vehicle should have damage to the front end and bumper area.
