Nightside with Dan Rea - Rundown for October 16, 2019

The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy Ducks Questions Regarding Firing Work, Inc. Since its opening, the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway has been tended, tidied, and trimmed by crews from WORK Inc., a Dorchester nonprofit that employ workers with disabilities. The Greenway has cut ties with the group in favor of a for profit company out of Kentucky. James Cassetta, the president of Work, says the Conservancy has made specious claims about his team’s ability, insisting the real story is they don't want disabled people about the place. The Executive Director of the Conservancy has canceled his appearance on the show but WORK's Jim Casetta will join us.

Debate Break Down. Last night was the 4th Democratic debate in Ohio televised by CNN. It was led off by moderator Anderson Cooper vindicating front runner Joe Biden's son Hunter who has been accused of influence peddling before he even asked a question. The former Vice-president then went on to make seven gaffes, misspeaks, flubs etc. Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg blasted Presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke telling him ‘I don’t need lessons from you on courage, political or personal’. Billionaire Tom Steyer ripped billionaires while Bernie Sanders told everyone he is fine after his recent heart attack. Never mentioned were China or climate change. Dan will have the break down from the three hour audience endurance test.
