Shooting In Framingham Leaves 2 Dead

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A father and son are dead following a double shooting in Framingham late Friday night.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Pelham Apartments on Second Street.

The father was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The son was pronounced dead on the scene.

The victims have been identified as James "Manny" Wade, 45, and his son James Wade, 24, of Framingham. Neither were residents of the apartment building the shooting happened in.

On Saturday morning, more than a dozen investigators—including a K-9 team—were still on the scene looking for evidence, focusing on a courtyard and a parking lot.

The police sirens and lights woke up several neighbors. One woman said she was shaken by the violence.

"I don't want my kids out here playing," she said. "It gives me anxiety."

So far, no arrests have been made. Officials say it was an isolated incident, and that it remains under investigation.
