LEOMINSTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities are investigating a crash in Leominster that left two people injured, including a Massachusetts State Police trooper.
The crash happened shortly after midnight Thursday on Route 12.
At the time, the trooper was helping other police units apprehend a suspect. The trooper's cruiser had emergency lights and sirens activated when the crash happened.
The crash involved a woman who was driving a For Focus. She was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. The trooper sustained minor injuries, and has since been released from the hospital.
