WALTHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Waltham are warning residents of a possible scam involving someone promising to make repairs to driveways.
Authorities say the person knocks on resident's doors, saying that they have extra payment and will give the resident a "good deal."
"This 'good deal' typically results in him running out of pavement and saying he will return to finish the job. If he does return, the price will rise dramatically," police said.
