Dedham Man Arrested For Allegedly Grabbing Victim's Money Out Of ATM

DEDHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man from Dedham is facing charges after he allegedly robbed someone who was getting cash out of an ATM in broad daylight at South Station.

MBTA Transit police confirm officers at South Station were alerted to a robbery in progress at around 3:15 p.m. Monday, February 24.

The officers observed 29-year-old Michael Kinsella running out of the station, as a witness told them someone inside had just been robbed.

Officers chased Kinsella and apprehend him at the corner of Essex and South Streets.

The victim told police that Kinsella had grabbed the money while they were withdrawing it from the ATM inside South Station.

Police were able to recover the money from Kinsella.
