State Police: Wrong Way Crash Kills 3 On I-84 In Sturbridge

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Three people were killed in a crash Saturday night when a car on I-84 was driving the wrong way.

The crash killed Deyja Jackson, who was driving her car west at around 6:00 PM in the eastbound lanes of I-84 in Sturbridge.

State Police said the Worcester woman crashed her Nissan Murano into a Volvo carrying Irene Karam, of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Patricia Knauer of Florida.

State Troopers said they got a call about Jackson's car going the wrong way minutes before the crash, and were converging on her car when the crash happened.

The crash is still under investigation by the State Police.
