PROVINCETOWN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — White Sharks in the waters off Cape Cod have become a popular tourist draw, and a local shark conservancy has now opened a second shark center in Provincetown.

The Shark Center in Provincetown opened it's doors for the first time Thursday.

The center on MacMillan Wharf features interactive exhibits including a collection of shark jaws found locally. The new center also gives visitors a look into local marine research.

The 3,100 square foot exhibit space is meant to stimulate an underwater experience with customized lighting, imagery and life-size sharks.

The center will be open Thursdays through Sundays through mid June, then seven days a week until the first week in September.

Admission is $12 for adults and children over five. $10 for military and veterans and kids under five get in for free.
