LYNN (WBZNewsRadio) - Lynn-based Beyond Walls is wrapping up their four city street-art tour at home in Lynn.

"This is four artists on a really large wall blending their styles together." Al Wilson, Founder and Executive Director of Beyond Walls said. The artists are tackling an 80 X 60 foot space on the back of a CVS at 280 Union Street, but will be working around the city through September 20th.

This particular mural celebrates the city's vibrant Dominican population and their significant contributions to the community. The artists will work together on a cohesive design celebrating the people, culture, traditions, flora and fauna of the Dominican Republic.

The group of artists includes Angurria, Silvia Lopez Chavez, Dovente, Anna Dugan, Golden305 and 305Ange, and Willgom. The tour aims to leave the Commonwealth with more than 20 new murals in four communities; Holyoke, Fall River, Lowell and Lynn.

The tour began in June in Holyoke, where nine murals were painted. Then three murals were installed in Fall River and eight murals in Lowell. The group says in each community they've established new and expanded existing partnerships with nonprofit and educational organizations, municipal offices, businesses and the cultural communities unique to each location.
