BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - For a fourth year in a row, Boston's Seaport will be transformed into a winter wonderland, called Snowport. This year the Holiday Market at Snowport will nearly double in size, hosting more than 120 vendors.

"Being able to double the size, means we can double the impact on dollars being funneled towards small and local businesses." Said Emily Soukas, Associate Director of Community and Partnerships for Seaport, by W.S. Development.

Aside from the amazing local small businesses, Snowport will also have a tree market, more food than ever before, a custom cocktail bar from Tuscan Kitchen, an iceless curling area, and festive décor including a mistletoe arch, and a winter wish wall.

"I'm excited that there's gonna be more than just shopping, I think it's gonna be a cool spot to hang out." Cathryn who works nearby told WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe. "I'm looking forward to coming after work and hanging out."

Snowport will run Nov. 11 - Dec. 31. Snowport's tree lighting is scheduled for Dec. 2, at Seaport Common, and a menorah lighting ceremony will be held on Dec. 22, at One Seaport Courtyard.
