DENNIS, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - An investigation is underway after a deadly boat crash in Sesuit Harbor, ending the life of a 17-year-old girl.
Authorities responded around 9 p.m. Friday night, after the boat with six onboard, collided with a jetty off Cold Storage Beach in Dennis. The young woman's body was pulled from the water around 11:30 p.m. Another passenger, a male teenager, was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with a head wound.
The Massachusetts State Police Marine Unit and Underwater Recovery Unit, along the Environmental police marine assets are back in the water near the crash site, searching for debris that could aid in their investigation.
The identity of the girl has not yet been released.
