BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - A reminder from State Police, the HOV lane is reserved for vehicles traveling with two or more human passengers, after a driver was caught with a mannequin in the front seat.
According to the State Police Association of Massachusetts, a trooper working in South Boston recently pulled over a Mercedes in the HOV lane, to discover the 'passenger' in the front seat was nothing more than a mannequin.
"Mannequins, dogs and imaginary friends don't count." Officials said.
At least the mannequin was wearing a seatbelt.
