Local Plymouth Orchestra To Honor Two Musical Legends With Concert

PLYMOUTH Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra will join forces later this month with two Broadway vocalists on April 27th and 28th to pay a special tribute to The Queens of Rock & Soul: Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin. The orchestra will be conducted by Steven Karidoyanes and will have two very special guest vocalists Shaleah Adkisson and Tamika Lawrence. These women “faithfully interpret the songs with their own signature flair. These will be exhilarating concerts for the orchestra and audience alike, and a must-see event if you’re a fan of Tina and Aretha”, according to a press release related to the event.  

There will be two chances to catch this unforgettable event on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 28 at 3 p.m. The performances are at Plymouth Memorial Hall on Route 3A in Plymouth.
