BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As the Covid-19 pandemic continues into the winter months, WBZ's Carl Stevens has a poem for those who are finding ways to keep busy and keep the faith.
"Virus Verse"
Can we find something right in something that's wrong?
May practice yoga, start doing Qigong
Grab guitar, start singing a song
Can we find something right in something that's wrong?
Can we find something bright in something that's dark?
Hold your loved ones hand, take a walk in the park
Maybe in the living room, play a game of darts
Can we find something bright in something that's dark?
Can we find a blessing in something that's a curse?
Can we remind ourselves that somebody's got it worse?
There's food in the fridge, and some money in the purse
Can we find a blessing in something that's a curse?
Can we find a smile in something that's a frown?
Can we get back on our feet and not crawl on the ground?
In the backyard with the kids, maybe throw the ball around
Can we find a smile in something that's a frown?
Can we find a goodness in something that's bad?
Can we look into a pair of eyes and suddenly be glad?
Can we cherish what we have, not just what we had?
Can we find a goodness in something that is bad?
