BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Have you noticed large groups of adults hanging around a playground at Boston City Hall? Here's why.
It's all because of a viral video that shows a Boston Police officer going down the slide and flying off of it at high speed. WBZ's Matt Shearer went to check out the slide and see why it seems to launch people that go down it.
Matt met a student from the Berklee College of Music named Eric at the playground who decided to go down the slide for himself. Eric said he understands why the police officer got thrown around the way he did.
"I see how that happened," he said. "Wow, that hurt a lot more than I expected."
