Andover Children Help Rescue More Than A Dozen Ducklings

ANDOVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Two Andover children are being credited with saving 15 ducklings on Sunday.

Andover Police said the children noticed a mother duck on their street acting distressed, and told their parents about it.

It turns out 15 of the mother's ducklings had fallen straight down a storm drain, perching on the side of the drain over the black waters below.

Officer Fitzpatrick of the Andover Police managed to save the ducklings by raising up the grate, standing in the drain and pulling them all out.
