BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — In-person art classes are set to return to the Museum of Fine Arts for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
“It’s great to see people in 3-D,” Robert Worstell, Linde Family Head of Community and Studio Arts, said.
Worstell said the museum has been running in-person classes since the 1920s, but the coronavirus pandemic put that on hold.

“Since the pandemic, we closed down. We’ve been offering some things via distance, through Zoom classes. But, as of the end of June, we’ll start…welcoming students back in-person, and we’re excited about it,” Worstell said.
Workshops being offered include oil and acrylic painting, drawing, and printmaking.
COVID-19 safety precautions will also be followed.
