EASTHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Cape Cod father is on a mission to complete a journey he started with his late son, 21-year-old Jackson Yelle.

Jackson was a college student in South Carolina when he was struck and killed in a hit and run last year.

His dad Scott said his son was an avid baseball fan and played on the Elon University club baseball team.

The two of them were never able to finish a tour that they started visiting all of the major league baseball parks in the country.

But now, Scott said as a tribute to his son, he's finishing the tour while raising money for a major league baseball program that helps inner-city baseball leagues. "How can I finish this tour Jackson and I started and turn it into a way to donate to a cause that supports who Jackson was? It just seemed like a natural, perfect fit."
