PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A driver struck a bear when it wandered onto Route 3 in Plymouth Wednesday morning, police said.
Massachusetts State Police said the smaller cub was hit around 7:15 a.m. when it crossed into the median at Clark Road.
State police cruisers were unable to locate the bear after arriving on scene; Massachusetts Environmental Police also searched for the bear, but could not find it.
The driver was not injured.
