BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — In the age of digital photography, one store is keeping the analog spirit alive in Boston.

CatLABS at 3514 Washingston St. in Jamaica Plain is an analog film oasis, developing film and selling a range of cameras from 35mm to large film format.

"In all of New England, there isn’t a camera store that’s specifically dedicated to analog photography," owner Omer Hecht told WBZ NewsRadio Tuesday. "I don’t think that there is one anywhere in this part of the United States."

CatLABS also sells film, lens, accessories, and the equipment for film lovers to process it themselves. The store also offers the only one-hour turnaround film service in Boston.

"This to me is amazing," said Jessica, a photographer visiting from Montana. "I’m literally heading to the airport and I got like time to kill and I was like heck, they’re actually here, and it worked out."
