Charlestown Shooting Victim Identified As 33-Year-Old Jawad Muhammed

CHARLESTOWN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities said one person is dead after an early morning shooting in Boston’s Charlestown.

The victim has been identified as Jawad Muhammed, 33, of Mattapan.

The police responded around 3:20 a.m.

“On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound,” police said in a statement. “Boston EMS arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.”

The incident took place on Mystic Place, a small dead-end road off of Cook Street.

This is an ongoing story and there have been no arrests made.
