WASHINGTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Thousands of pounds of Chef Boyardee products have been recalled, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Products labeled as "rice with chicken and vegetables" actually contained beef ravioli.

According to USDA, the mislabeled products were produced on Jan. 16. Products that have the package code of 210090151050045L, as well as a “Best By” date of July 8, 2020 have been recalled. Almost 3,000 products have been affected.

No reports of adverse reactions due to consumption have been reported, according to USDA.

USDA advises that the products are thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
