Evan Dando Says 'Thanks' Through Song In A Falmouth, Mass. Walgreens

Falmouth, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A lost-and-found wallet on Cape Cod led to an impromptu concert in the stationary aisle of a Walgreens.

Evan Dando, the lead singer of The Lemonheads and a Massachusetts native, lost his wallet which contained his driver’s license and two debit cards.

He turned to Twitter on Saturday for help to find his wallet.

Within about 15 minutes, Boston.com reported that Walgreens employee Mike Ghelfi tweeted Dando that his wallet had been found.

When Dando arrived to pick up his wallet on Monday—he didn’t come empty handed—he had an acoustic guitar.

With one foot on his guitar case, he performed an excerpt of “Confetti” from The Lemonheads’ fifth album “It’s a Shame About Ray.”
