BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — WOW Air, the Icelandic budget airline, ceased all operations and grounded its entire fleet due to financial trouble Thursday—leaving passengers stranded across two continents.

A banner across the airline's website read, "WOW AIR has ceased operation. All WOW AIR flights have been cancelled."

WOW is advising passengers to check for available flights with other airlines. They have posted more information on their website on passengers' rights and the steps they can take to try to get their money back.

One passenger from Amsterdam told WBZ NewsRadio's Karyn Regal he has been stuck at Logan Airport in Boston since 10 a.m. Wednesday.

"Pull your pants up, do something, it's people, not cockroaches!" he said, expressing his frustration.

That passenger was told he should be able to get to London on a plane Friday.

More information for affected travellers can be found on WOW's website, here.
