HYANNIS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The John F. Kennedy Museum in Hyannis will soon be honoring another iconic Kennedy.
Museum officials have announced the return of a special exhibit to commemorate the life and legacy of Robert Kennedy when it reopens for the 2021 season.
The "RFK: Ripple of Hope" exhibit opens on April 17 and will be on display at the Hyannis museum through 2022.
The exhibit begins with RFK's early years in the Kennedy family, including rarely seen images of his time on Cape Cod.

The focal point, however, covers his time serving as U.S. Attorney General, his election to the U.S. Senate and culminates with his presidential campaign.
Exhibit curator Rebecca Pierce-Merrick said one part of the exhibit that highlights his impromptu speech from April 1968, the night Matin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, is expected to stand out.
The exhibit includes 45 images and excerpts from RFK's speeches, and an eight-minute video narrated by Kathleen Kennedy and former Congressman Joe Kennedy III.
