King Arthur Flour Recall

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — King Arthur Flour has recalled some lots of their Unbleached All-Purpose Flour because of a possible E. Coli contamination.

The recall was voluntary, and what the company called a "precautionary step," according to their website. It affects some 5 pound and 25 pound bags.

According to the FDA, this is "an expansion of a recall announced" back in June.

"Consumers who have any of these affected products should throw them away and may submit a claim for a refund or replacement," the FDA said.

The flour was milled in Buffalo, N.Y. and was distributed across the country, as well as the company's catalogue, website, and their store in Norwich, Vt.
