BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – Like most people this time of year, there is one New England sports team that is also getting into the holiday spirit.

Kyle Van Noy disclosed some very festive information to Jessica on 101.7 The Bull Friday morning as to which of his teammates like to listen to Christmas music in the locker room.

During the interview, Jessica asked the Patriots linebacker which player acts as Buddy the Elf for the team. Van Noy said there isn’t just one teammate that takes the fruit cake.

He mentioned Lawrence Guy first, saying “he may be the big man in the middle and try to act, you know, all high and mighty and macho all of the time but deep down he’s a softy and he’s listening to Christmas music.”

Van Noy also called out wide receiver Matthew Slater, saying “he’s a big ‘Jingle Bells’ guy.”

Finally, and certainly not least, the player went straight to the top of the Patriots helm by calling out his coach, Bill Belichick.

“Bill’s lowkey listening to Christmas music, don’t let him fool you,” Van Noy said. “He might, you know, try to act like the Grinch but really, he is a Christmas man at heart.”
