LINCOLN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Lincoln, Mass. Police Department and MSPCA law enforcement officers announced an animal abuse and abandonment investigation in a press release Wednesday.

A resident found a wounded puppy on the side of Page Road on April 8.

The Terrier-Chihuahua mix had injuries to his eye and head, investigators said.
