BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The National Transportation Safety Board said on Friday that the 39-year-old man that was killed on the MBTA Red Line the prior weekend was exiting the train when his arm became lodged in a door, according to the Boston Globe.
Robinson Lalin of Boston died early Sunday morning after he was dragged by an inbound train leaving Broadway Station, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. The NTSB says they expect to have a full incident report out in the next thirty days.
Pending the investigation, both the train and operator involved in the incident have been removed from service.

At a MBTA Safety, Health & Environment Subcommittee virtual meeting on Thursday, officials did not discuss the investigation, except for member Bob Butler who addressed Lalin's death.
"I would like to extend my condolences to the Robinson Lalin family,” Butler said. “It’s a tragedy that happened and we feel the pain.”
Lalin's family has launched a Go Fund Me campaign to help pay for funeral arrangements and other expenses, something that has raised thousands of dollars at the time of posting.
"Robinson was an amazing man who always had a huge smile, a warm heart and loved to help everyone around his community. He will be greatly missed," said Lalin's nephew, Kelvin Lalin.
