BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Anyone who claims Boston is one of the worst driving cities was vindicated in a recent study.

According to a study done by a software production company, Boston was ranked as the fourth worst driving city in the nation out of 80 different cities. The study focused on time spent in rush hour, congestion and the price of gas.

WBZ’s James Rojas asked Boston residents what they think about the ranking and drivers in Boston.

“They’re out of control. Everyone’s in a rush, it’s just insane and they’ll kill you just to get where they’re going,” said one resident.

“Driving in Boston sucks,” said another resident.

“I think it sucks because of all the potholes,” said another resident.

Los Angeles and Chicago came in third and second respectively. New York City was ranked as the worst city which was no surprise to one resident.

“Oh yeah, I go there all the time. It’s horrible there and New Jersey. Drive out of the state. Boston’s not that bad trust me,” said one woman.
