BRAINTREE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal hit and run on Tuesday morning off I-93 in Braintree.
Troopers responded to the scene just before 4:30 a.m. They say the victim is a male, but offered no other details at this time.
Investigators are currently working on a description of the vehicle involved and investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The crime scene investigation impacted morning traffic for some time in the early commute hours -- closing off the center and right lanes. All lanes reopened at around 6:30 a.m.
