MILFORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Saturday, the Milford Police Department told young females to use caution following multiple car tampering incidents throughout the town.

Officials say criminal charges are pending against one man after an investigation, but warned the public to be "on the lookout" for an Asian male in his late thirties, that drives a blue Chevy Impala with Massachusetts plates.

According to police, the suspect has been targeting young females, flattening their tires and filling their gas tanks with water, after which he would offer to drive them home. Milford Police said resident drivers with flat tires should not try and turn the ignition.

Officials say at least one incident occurred in the area of 250 Fortune Boulevard in Milford.
