Keene, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Keene, New Hampshire man has been arrested on charges stemming from the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Federal prosecutors are accusing Jason Riddle of storming the U.S. Capitol, and stealing government property – namely, a book of Senate Procedure, that prosecutors say he then sold.
The criminal complaint says someone tipped off the FBI after they saw an interview Riddle gave with NBC 10 Boston.
Riddle is formally being charged with theft of government property, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, among other charges.
Including Riddle, there have been six people arrested by the Boston FBI Division in connection with the Capitol riots.
Riddle’s case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s office for Washington, D.C.
