Police: Gun Fired, Brookline Resident Attacked In Late-Night Home Invasion

BROOKLINE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Brookline Police said they were called to the scene of a home invasion overnight on Tuesday.

Police said they received the call from 45 Warren Street, a home overlooking the Brookline Reservoir, at about 2:19 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Police say several suspects wearing masks broke into the house and attacked someone there. They say a gun appears to have been fired during the invasion.

There is a heavy police presence on Warren Street and nearby Walnut Street. Brookline Police say officers are hunting for the suspects.
