Police Investigating Two Fatal Shootings In Roslindale

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A shooting in Roslindale Friday night has left one 35-year-old man dead.

The shooting happened on Paine Street around 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, police discovered the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

As the shooting remains under investigation, anyone with information is asked to contact Boston Police.

Currently, no suspects have been identified.

This was the second shooting in the area in 48 hours. Police did not say if the two shootings were connected.

Pasqual Casiano, 44, of Jamaica Plain, has been identified as the person killed in Thursday's shooting near American Legion Highway.

He, and another person, were shot around 2 p.m. They were both taken to a local hospital. Casiano later succumbed to his injuries.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story said the two shootings happened in 24 hours. They happened more than 24 hours apart.
