President Trump's New Hampshire Rally Postponed Due To Weather

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — President Trump's scheduled rally in New Hampshire has been canceled as Tropical Storm Fay is expected to roll across the northeast.

According to White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, the rally, which was set to take place in an aircraft hangar at Portsmouth International Airport, will be delayed a week or two.

Trump Campaign Communications Director Tim Murtaugh said the event "will be rescheduled and a new date will be announced soon.”

The National Weather Service Boston said Tropical Storm Fay will continue up the east coast Friday afternoon into Saturday, when it will most likely arrive in New England.

NWS Boston said Tropical Storm Fay is expected to cause "heavy rainfall" in Delaware, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, southeast New York, western Connecticut, and southern New England, which could result in localized flash flooding.
