QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are investigating two unarmed robberies that happened on Thursday, Feb. 18 on West Squantum Street.
Authorities said the first robbery happened around 4:45 a.m when a 69-year-old Asian man was attacked while walking toward the North Quincy train station. The man's lunch box was stolen, and he was taken to to the hospital with serious injuries.
The second robbery happened shortly before 10 p.m. that same day also on West Squantum Street near Division Street. A 55-year-old Asian women's shoulder bag was stolen while she was walking home from the North Quincy train station. Two people witnessed the robbery and took a video of the suspect on their cell phone. They were also able to return the woman's bag to her. She was not injured.

It is currently unclear if the two robberies are related, but they did occur near the same area the victims both describe the suspect as a white man.
