Rhode Island 'Rail Explorers' Offer A New Way To Practice Social Distancing

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The business 'Rail Explorers' in Rhode Island offers a new way to spend time with loved ones while practicing social distancing.

The experience includes two to six people on what looks like large, modified bikes with steel wheels that sit on the train tracks. The group then has a chance to pedal three miles along the coastline, leading to a picnic area that overlooks the Newport Bridge.

There are also fireside options and participants can pack themselves s'mores and drinks before pedaling back.
