Rob Gronkowski To Co-Host FOX's New Year's Eve Coverage

NEW YORK CITY (WBZ NewsRadio) — Former New England Patriots' tight end Rob Gronkowski will be co-hosting FOX's New Year's Eve special with Steve Harvey and Maria Menounos, the network said in a statement.

The program will feature a star-studded guest list filled with celebrities over the course of three and a half hours as the crowd prepares for the ball to drop at Times Square.

Since his playing career ended after Super Bowl LIII back in February, Gronk has stayed in the spotlight from his CBD business, to the seemingly never ending "will he or won't he" return to the Patriots questions all fall, to joining the FOX NFL SUNDAY crew and now co-hosting New Years Eve coverage on a major network.

Coverage will air in two parts, with part one going from 8-10pm and part two starting back up at 11pm and ending at 12:30am after the ball drops

The Chainsmokers, Florida Georgia Line and The Lumineers are among those slated to perform.
