BEVERELY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Members of the Salem Police unions arrived at the Kevin O'Grady School in Beverly Wednesday morning to donate eleven iPads for students with disabilities.

"This is absolutely amazing," said school Principal Martha Krol, "for our students, it gives opportunities to communicate that they wouldn't have otherwise, these iPads provide the opportunity to let their voices be heard."

The Kevin O'Grady School, part of the North Shore Education Consortium, said on their website that they service students ages 3 to 22-years-old and that "classrooms are equipped with the latest technology, including iPads, computers, special learning apps, communication devices and adaptive technology to meet all student's needs."
