BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As winter creeps closer and closer, snowboarders gathered in Boston to learn from some of the best in the industry.

The Snowbound Expo at the Convention Center in Boston proved to be a massive success, with gear on the shelves, discounts on the slopes, and summertime shreds. The event featured some of the biggest names in the sport and over 150 vendors.

“This is the biggest ski show in America. New England skiers are passionate. We ski in all different types of weather, different terrain and we love it,” said professional snowboarder Dan Egan.

Egan was one of the pro snowboarders speaking at the event, alongside Shaun White and Jeremy Jones. He gave the crowd tips on how to make better videos on the slopes.

“So, you can make good edits, the question is can you make edits that stand out? You have to ask yourself what am I doing that the other person isn’t,” said Egan.

Exhibitors said the attendance this year nearly doubled.
