HULL, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Hard to believe, but we are in the waning days of summer.

The Labor Day weekend is fast approaching and the new school season is almost here.

So what's on your 'summer bucket list?'

On this mid-week, late summer day out on Nantasket Beach, the usual weekend crowds have thinned out considerably, although dozens of people were out soaking in the sun.

John is a single Dad new to the area. He said he and his eight-year-old son are just chilling at the beach. "We've had a couple of weeks of craziness so it's nice just to be able to come out to the beach," he said. "The water feels amazing." He added, "We're also looking forward to the new school season."

Sarah was at the beach too. She's about to enter her junior year of high school and just finished the last week of her summer job. "I'm looking forward to some time off before school starts," she said.
