Third Alarm Fire Displaces More Than 10 From Nashua Home

NASHUA, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) – A third alarm fire in Nashua has displaced multiple residents from a multi-family home.

Overnight Saturday, Nashua Fire Rescue (NFR) responded to building fire at 68 Ash Street. The building was a multi-family home, containing four apartments.

Crews arrived as strong flames were engulfing the right side of the building on the second and third floors. Gas and electricity were cut off so that crews could battle the flames.

Deputy Chief Glen MacDonald said all of the house occupants, approximately 10, were displaced. NFR also tweeted out saying as many as 20 people from the property were displaced and put in a temporary shelter with help from the Red Cross.

Everyone was able to get out safely and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
